Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, I have been academically, commercially and artistically engaged with photography since the age of 17.

During my early studies, I felt the need to document everything around me, and this process showed me how the seemingly irrelevant moments of our lives can lead to profound and intimate discoveries about who we truly are.

This ever-present concern with interpersonal relationships connects my work to the traditions of new documentary photography.

Questions about memory and the material nature of the photograph are key to my exploration of these subjects, so my practice has also involved experiments that juxtapose analog and digital techniques.

Individual pieces and series featured on this website have been exhibited in group shows in Colombia, Spain, France, Nigeria and Austria.
